Fandom Marketing founder, Melonie Gallegos, has been invited to guest moderate a social media Twitter chat about integrating email marketing to social marketing. #EmailChat 7 Questions Every Marketer Should Ask About Email and Social Media is happening next Wednesday and you can sign-up for free using our Twitter-friendly invite.

#EmailChat is a Twitter discussion hosted by Blue Hornet, an enterprise email service provider based in San Diego. The event requires no travel and it costs nothing to participate.

never attended a twitter chat?

Here’s how it works.

All you need is a Twitter account. The chat will begin with the moderator posing questions to the audience, who participate by watching the hashtag and hash tagging their tweeted answers with #emailchat. In addition, the audience will sometimes pose their own questions. The experts moderating the discussion will provide answers but they won’t be the only ones. You will get access to an entire group of savvy digital marketing experts who will be participating. If you have insight to offer, you are encouraged to answer questions too. View the last Twitter Chat here to get a better idea of how it goes.

what you’ll learn

Where does social media fit into the tried-and-true world of email marketing? Email and social media are both part of the same ecosystem in brand communications, but in most organizations they exist in a silo – presenting challenges for marketers who are looking to create integrated marketing campaigns. Melonie will share her insights while guiding us through seven questions every marketer should ask about email and social media.
