The Sport Chalet community provided unique experiences across six key segments for the business: running, fitness, cycling, snow, outdoors, and SCUBA. As their full service social media agency, Fandom Marketing designed and managed a custom designed community website built in WordPress. To engage each audience in an authentic way we designed unique entry pages that carried out to full sections of content. Using the environments where customers use their products, like under water for SCUBA divers, we created a backdrop to house guides, blogs, and social media feeds which were integrated to the website. User Generated Content (UGC) was sourced from customers posting with the community hashtag #ToTheLimit and were featured on each segment landing page. Brand Ambassadors provided expert advice shared in blogs and infographics. Each “expert” was showcased in a profile on the community driven by WordPress author pages.
