During SEMA, the biggest automotive trade-show of the year, Go Rhino unveiled three vehicle builds installed with Go Rhino truck accessories. Since SEMA is open to industry professionals only, they were looking for a way to grow awareness with customers who were not at the show. We designed a simple Facebook sweepstakes where fans could vote for their favorite Go Rhino vehicle build by commenting on photos of the unveiled Tacoma, Ram and Jeep trucks live from SEMA. The sweepstakes was promoted on Facebook with advertising, and in Twitter and Instagram tapping into SEMA hashtag conversations. Over just four days, we received over 1,200 reactions (Facebook likes) on our contest post, 108 re-shares, and over 600 comments! Although it wasn’t part of the entry requirement, dozens of customers shared photos of their vehicles to the thread. Some already sporting Go Rhino products which we could use in later marketing.
